Lithofin slate-Seal [MN] is suitable for rough and honed surfaces. it forms a high gloss film on the surface and strengthens the colour structure which is intensified. Litofin Slate-Seal embellishes the appearance. It is intended for indoor use only and not recommended for worktops or bathrooms/wetrooms.

Is this suitable to use on white marble?

Yes, it is suitable to use on the follwoing surfaces: nearly all absorbent, porous natural stones (e.g. granite, gneiss, marble, limestone, slate, etc.) and engineered stones.

I want to use this on the slate floor in my hall. I have dogs so how long does it take to dry enough for them to walk on it?

Safe to walk on after approx. 45 minutes, completely dry after 24 hours.
 

Can the slate seal be put on with a mop?

No, unfortunately I’m afraid using a traditional mop wouldn’t be a good idea. A thin even coat is required so the best result is achieved by using a sponge or paint roller.
