Does this shelf need to be fitted during tile installation?
No, shower shelf can be tiled in during installation or fitted retrospectively. If fitting after tile installation fix with silicone into the grout joint.
How high should a shower shelf be?
In most cases, corner shelves work best when installed between 42” off of the base and “eye level”. When installing as a Foot Shelf, a comfortable height is about 9” to 12” off the shower base.
Is this shelf shiny?
No, this shelf has a brushed stainess steel finish to it. If a shiny/refletive surface is what you are after we would suggest the Genesis Alluminium Shower Shelf (SKU KBSSA.91)
Can I use a tile on this shelf?
Yes, if you are wanting to fit your shelf with tile simply place shelf behind the tiles with the front edge facing upwards. Set tile into the shelf. Attach the rest of the tiles on top. Finally, seal with silicone.
