Lithofin

The brand Lithofin is backed by more than 50 years of experience in the field of cleaning, protecting and maintaining ceramic tiles, quarry tiles, natural and artificial stone. Some of Lithofin's most popular products are Lithofin MN Stain Stop, Lithofin Easy Care and Easy Clean, as well as Lithofin Power Clean and Lithofin Wexa. The name Lithofin is a combination of the Greek word lithos = stone and the English term finishing treatment.

Lithofin Tile Polish [KF] is the ideal finish for unglazed ceramic tiles and quarry tiles that have been pre-treated with Lithofin KF Stain-Stop. The glossy film freshens up the colours and makes care easier, especially for tiles with rough finishes. Occasional touch-ups can be done by adding the product to clean mop water. For indoor use only.

Will it make the tiles shine again without being too slippery?

Yes, it will make ceramic and quarry tiles glossy without making the surface slippery and hazardous.

Does this actually seal the tiles?

You can build up a seal after several coats. Apply in one direction and then the opposite for even coverage.

Do I dilute it?

The surface must be clean and completely dried out. Pre-treating the surface with Lithofin Stain Stop [KF] (Product Code: LTKSTCON)  is recommended. Remove dirt deposits and old care product residues with a suitable Lithofin Cleaner. Evenly apply Lithofin Tile Polish [KF] in undiluted form using an applicator, sponge or lint free cloth. The product may be used diluted with water, if the surface is not very absorbent. The amount of product to be applied depends on the absorbency of the tile; make sure you leave a clearly visible film of moisture on the surface. A second coat can be applied, if needed. Always test in an inconspicuous area prior to use.
