The AHD Bullnose Edge Profile is designed to be used in most commercial and industrial applications with twin coloured PVC inserts. It is available in a 5mm gauge allowing for fixing with heavy duty carpets or similar floor covering. In addition to the function of step edge protection the Aluminator® range offers an easy, energy efficient solution to illuminate steps. Should a local or emergency power failure occur on stairways, increasing the risk of hazard for evacuees, the Aluminator® system allows the evacuee to orientate, locate stair edges and risers, and to assist in the safe evacuation of the premises. The system requires no electrical connection, is simple to install and requires no special maintenance other than that which you would normally carry out on any similar product. Only normal illumination, daylight, fluorescent or standard tungsten filaments are required to activate its performance.A REACH compliant flexible PVC extrusion grade specifically designed for non-scuff stair nosing applications with good anti-slip properties. Designed to meet the guidelines in BS8300:2009+A1:2010. Tredsafe insert is manufactured from a special blend of P.V.C., silica quartz and polymeric plasticiser giving an homogeneous hard wearing anti-slip flooring for wet and dry conditions. The three dimensional pyramid pattern provides excellent slip resistance in both wet and dry conditions. Manufactured from High Quality Aluminium the AHD11 profile is supplied in 1m, 2.46m, 2.77m or 3.22m lengths with 14 REACH compliant Standard PVC inserts and 5 TREDSAFE inserts to choose from.
