Genesis Optimax Aluminium Heavy Duty Movement Joint

Genesis MSA is a Heavy Duty aluminium Movement Joint with highly durable Santoprene infill offering protection to the edge of the floor covering. The use of Santoprene as a movement accommodation material offers an outstanding flexibility, chemical and weathering resistanc, in addition the tensile strength is a contributing factor to the durability, the anchoring angles are aluminium grade 6063 T6, which is heat treated to increase tensile strength.   British Standard BS 5385 recommends that a Joint should be able to absorb 20% of the width of the Joint in movement accommodation; these Joints far surpass the minimum requirement. The Santoprene infill can be removed and replaced thus saving expensive replacement of the joints.
